Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy helps give your skin the boost it needs to look brighter and feel firmer, as well as fade the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy involves the administering of a skin rejuvenating cocktail of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids. Mesotherapy helps give your skin the boost it needs to look brighter and feel firmer, as well as fade the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
For this treatment, we use an electric skin needling device created especially for this purpose and made from medical grade titanium that is non-allergenic to human tissue. The device is used to break down old scar tissue and to stimulate skin cells to proliferate. This cell multiplication results in the formation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibres as well as in new capillaries to increase your blood supply and bring a glow to your appearance.

FAQs
Most patients do not experience any discomfort during this procedure. Our microneedling device pierces the skin layer at 90 degrees to administer the product and induce absorption. The microneedling device slides along the skin, penetrating the upper layers to a depth of up to two millimeters in order to create numerous tiny needle wounds. This procedure causes the body to respond by forming new collagen and elastin fibers. In response to this stimulus, the skin plumps and thickens, which results in the reduction of the appearance of scars, and fine lines and wrinkles. Most people will begin to see results after the very first treatment.
Since the tiny pricking channels close within one hour, and the provided procedure is done under controlled clinical conditions, postoperative infections are extremely unlikely. After the treatment, soothing moisturiser is used to hydrate, heal and protect the skin. We will also recommend the most effective recovery method regarding any potential redness and home care topical protocols to enhance the results. There is no risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Mesotherapy is the perfect solution for those looking to bring an added firmness and glow to their skin. Whether you are suffering from wrinkles and excessive fine lines or if your skin has started to show the natural effects of age, this treatment can help add form and colour to all skin types and variations.
Mesotherapy is not suitable for patients who:
- Have a used Accutane (isotretinoin) within the last three months
- Have open wounds, cuts or abrasions on the skin
- Have had radiation treatment to the skin within the last year
- Have any kind of current skin infection, condition or virus affected the area to be treated
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have any history of keloid or hypertrophic scars or poor wound healing
Mesotherapy can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks until you achieve the desired results. The number of treatments required will depend on how each individual responds and the condition of the skin prior to treatment. Mesotherapy can be safely performed on all types of skins and colours and is also useful for treating sensitive and fragile areas that are difficult to treat with other procedures. These areas include eyes, neck and the back of the hands.
Most people will experience redness and mild swelling in a similar way as mild sunburn for 24-48 hours. Your skin will feel tight and you may have mild peeling within the first week. With injections there may be a minimal pin-point bleeding and/or bruising. Within a week or two, you will notice that your skin is smoother and more radiant looking, and the full effects will continue to develop over the next few months.
To ensure the right healing environment, for the next 2 to 3 days after the treatment do not apply the following to the treated skin; any AHA’s (glycolic Acid), retinol or “active” ingredients. Exposure to sun should also be avoided, unless physical sunblock is used. We can advise you on the right choice of sunblock after the procedure.
