The Procedure
Lips are very sensitive so you are likely to experience a certain amount of discomfort. We can however offer a stress free procedure if you are very sensitive to pain and can outline the nature of this option during your consultation. Similar to other skin treatments, a filler will be applied to the necessary areas to add form and texture. We work with exclusive hyaluronic acid based fillers that have very low incidents of side effects supported by extensive clinical research.
Injectable fillers are normally well tolerated by patients with little or no adverse effects. After your treatment is completed we will discuss fully the necessary precautions to take as lips are a very sensitive area and should not be exposed to intense heat or extreme cold for the first few days after treatment, in addition to excessive movement.

If you are looking to alter your facial balance and compliment your other features such as nose and mouth, then you may be considering cheek treatments to achieve your aesthetic goals. With all consultations we will first try to understand your ideal end goals and create a treatment plan that matches your overall transformation targets. If we agree that cheek treatment is the best course of action then we can advise you further on next steps. The aim is to achieve subtle and natural results without distorting the existing structure of your face too much and we can achieve this by being conservative in our approach and without applying excessive treatment to specific areas.

When adding volume to the cheeks we use a long-lasting and safe Dermal Filler. As a result, the former youthful facial fullness can be restored and the cheekbones enhanced. When shaping the contours of the face the filler is injected into the skin in small amounts. The procedure takes 30 - 45 minutes in total and the results can be seen immediately. A touch-up treatment may be necessary to achieve an optimal correction 3-4 weeks later. Lasting results are usually maintained with occasional follow-up treatments and we will factor this in to your consultation and work with you to create your long term aesthetic medical plan.

During the procedure the Obagi Radiance Peel is applied to the face, décolletage (neck and chest) or hands to remove the dead skin cells.
